Platinum Resources and Voyager Software, the story so far…

Platinum Resources originally signed up to Voyager’s legacy product, Professional in 2007 and they’ve been a valued customer ever since.
A decade on, Managing Director Chris Drake felt the need for a more advanced CRM system which would further benefit his business and recruitment processes.
As a result, Chris chose Infinity, Voyager’s newer, innovative and more technologically advanced system.
We caught up with Chris after the Infinity migration to find out more.

Tell us about Platinum Resources

Established in 2007, Platinum Resources is a specialist mid-to-senior level Accountancy & Financial Recruitment Consultancy servicing niche sectors through 5 core Practices; Construction, Energy, Infrastructure, Transport and Property. We recruit throughout the UK and on an international basis for both Contract and Permanent appointments.

In recent years, how important has technology become to your business?

Very important indeed. We’ve used Voyager Professional since our inception and with great success. However, we recently identified the need to adopt a leading, cutting-edge Recruitment system to fully benefit from the recent technological advances within the sector, in order to improve our resourcing and matching capabilities and to speed up the processes required of an ethical, compliant recruitment business.

Why did you choose Voyager Infinity as your next recruitment CRM system?

Having reviewed the marketplace, we selected Voyager Infinity for multiple reasons:

  • Voyager Infinity is a truly connected recruitment solution which integrates into various social media channels, such as LinkedIn; a whole host of job posting services; and the MailChimp email marketing platform. This will enable Platinum Resources to better serve our clients, as we can identify and target high-value candidates within the marketplace much quicker and more accurately.
  • Voyager Infinity is a fully connected system with highly impressive inter-connectivity processes. It will enable us to search for / match prospective Candidates to our Client mandates in a much quicker and responsive manner.
  • The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) comes into effect from 25 May 2018 and it was important to us to find a supplier that takes these rules seriously and will help us become fully compliant with these new regulations.
How would you describe the support you’ve received from Voyager?

We have always experienced a very high level of Support from Voyager over the last decade. High quality and responsive support will enable us to maintain the very highest levels of service that we deliver to our Candidates and Clients.

How have you found the migration from Professional to Infinity?

We have been extremely happy with the decision made. The implementation process was quick, effective and most importantly, problem-free.

Did the training go well?

The various training sessions attended were very well delivered and we are already experiencing the benefits that the new system has to offer.
