Release overview

This release includes extended functionality for event permissions, iCapture exclusions and several minor enhancements to Temps.

The Temp enhancements include new functionality to edit shifts from Temp Filled Jobs and Temp Unfilled Jobs as well as several minor enhancements.

There have also been improvements to the ‘thumbs up’ and ‘thumbs down’ options on shortlist, and speed improvements to the Outlook Add-in.

Enhancement 64490 Can add a candidate to a shortlist with fewer clicks

  • You can click in the ‘thumbs up’ and ‘thumbs down’ columns on search results

  • If you click in the ‘thumbs up’ column on search results, the candidate is added to the shortlist

  • If you click in the ‘thumbs down’ column on search results, the candidate is not added to the shortlist.  The thumbs down indicates that the candidate has been rejected from the list

Enhancement 64302 Outlook Add-in improvements

The Outlook Add-in has had improvements to the loading of the appropriate candidate in the panel, and will make improvements to the speed of flicking through various emails in Outlook.

Enhancement 38604 Extended Permissions to edit events

  • A new permission ‘EventsEdit’ has been added which allows users to edit events.
  • Without this permission users are allowed to add events, but NOT edit events.
  • During an upgrade, ‘Infinity Users’ and ‘Infinity Administrators’ DO have this permission
  • On a new database ‘Infinity Users’ DON’T have this permission
  • On a new database ‘Infinity Administrators’ DO have this permission
  • DBManagers CAN edit events

Enhancement 39066 iCapture exclusions

iCapture exclusions allow administrators to enter a list of telephone numbers/email addresses that could be added to candidate records in error, because they appear on the cover email / CV that is sent to iCapture.

Telephone numbers/email addresses that could appear in error include job boards e.g. Broadbean and the Recruitment Consultants own details.

The recommended format for the number is as shown in the screenshot below.

02

03

When iCapture checks for exclusions the following characters are stripped out, before the check is done.

Email Addresses – spaces are removed

Phone Numbers – all non-numeric numbers are removed e.g. ()+ space

e.g. If the candidates CV/cover email has +44 (0) 1256 845000, then ‘4401256845000’ is compared to the exclusion of ‘*1256845000 and the phone number will NOT be added to the candidates record in iCapture, and therefore NOT added to the Infinity database record.

* and ? are used as wildcards.

Exclusions remove telecoms after the parser has run, so are only excluded from the telecoms section in Candidate iCapture.

Enhancement 63940 SEEK Job Board integration to include formatting

04

  • When you click ‘Post’ on the Job page, the relevant fields are copied to the ‘Advert Configuration’ window.
  • The Job ‘Description’ field is copied as plain text

05

  • A new toolbar has been added to allow formatting of the text before it is posted to SEEK.
