As a user of many other Recruitment Software solutions over 10 years, what single feature attracted you to Voyager’s product?
The ability to ‘drag’ a candidate onto a booking and confirm it to both parties in seconds, and have Voyager track all the compliance is light years ahead of anything else we’ve seen. Recruiters at Provide are now full time Recruiters; we’ve doubled contractor numbers with the same number of staff since its implementation. It’s written by recruiters not teckies. It’s simple to use - full stop.
‘Legislation and compliance’ is also key in our sector. Voyager presents the users with warnings about expiration dates and missing certificates.
In short, Voyager offers real compliance to our customers without the normally associated manual paper trail. Recruiters, management and customers alike all receive a better, faster and compliant response when working on Voyager’s VDQ! solution.
Great software isn’t always enough. How do you rate the staff and support you’ve received?
Our investment in time and effort to choose the best solution was matched by their time and effort to help us get the most from it. I can honestly say that the Support Desk are excellent, the Account Management team, specifically Annelies, is a real asset and we’ve been treated with respect. We’re extremely happy with the services and support Voyager offer they’ve gone the extra mile to make it work.
How has Voyager facilitated growth at Provide?
As a start-up with 1 member of staff we’ve grown to 10 in less than a year, and our plans are to double in the next 3 years. We had used another solution from a ‘market leader’ prior to implementing Voyager but I can honestly say, had we have stuck with that solution our growth would have been seriously curtailed - in our sectors, that equates to millions of pounds.
What was the selection process you used for Recruitment Software?
We contacted 20 Suppliers inviting them to tender, 10 applied, we had 3 on the final shortlist after a 6 month investigation and we chose Voyager as the solution truly shone out.
Key things for us were;
• They have a broad product range which has proven to be vital in this ever changing market
• They’re a well known brand, and well respected Recognised by the REC
• They offered 5 references, but we found many ourselves who sung their praise.
• Financially they’re stable
• Ultimately they are just nice people to do business with
We’ve not regretted out decision, it’s been fundamental to our growth and the professionalism our staff are able to offer to customers.How does Voyager facilitate a better faster service for your customers?
In our business time is of the essence. There are many locums registered with hundreds of agencies out there looking for work and we want to make sure that we offer our locums the positions first and we have found with Voyager we can match candidates with a vacancy within a matter of seconds.
We also have to make sure our doctors are compliant with the latest NHS regulations and with Voyager we are alerted for any documents that are out of date meaning no last minute chasing if the right vacancy comes up!
