An enthusiastic Michaela Girle caught up with Paul Thompson recently, 100 days into her new role as a Technical Support Engineer at Voyager Software…
I’ve always been the ‘Go-To-Gal’ when it comes to anything technical amongst friends and family, and so I think I was always going to end up working in a caring support environment.
Whilst IT Support is a new role for me, I love it, I absolutely love it at Voyager.
Who doesn’t want to ‘Spice Up their life‘ with fresh challenges day after day?
I’ve always been a geek at heart, but if you’ve got skills it’s only right that they’re put to good use right?
It’s great to have found a home where I fit in so well.
Michaela on the team
The team at Voyager are fantastic, and I’ve learned so much. The technology I support enables recruiters and recruitment organisations to make the most of their time, which means I feel pretty great about the service I offer. I recognise that not everyone is technically minded, especially recruiters and sales teams, and so by being able to offer a layman’s answer to what can often be quite complicated problems is what I’m here for – and people appreciate it.
It’s great knowing that our customers are getting great service in addition to a great product, and I’m proud to be part of such a great team and company.
Being able to facilitate a faster, smarter and more automated way of recruitment is what I’m all about.

I’m pretty lazy, it’s why I’m a great geek – I can always find a quicker and easier way to do it!
I have an unhealthy love for scented candles – I love the Christmassy Yankee candle – every day of the year!
I love getting outside – Wellness Wednesday is a real thing at Voyager . We take a nice walk in the forest – it’s great to get out into nature.
