So many new recruitment agency start-ups – my busiest January in 23 years.
But a word of caution for the larger agencies out there. Many senior recruiters and Executive Search Consultants I speak with are simply tired. They’ve worked tirelessly during the pandemic, navigating the choppy waters on your behalf and for your business. They’ve sidestepped redundancy and furlough.
And they still found the creativity to learn new ways of working from home and getting people into work – and in the process, kept your business on the rails. And now you’re telling them (hopefully asking) to “get back in the office” and “go back to how things were”…
To quote someone from last night: “If I’d been offered a ‘return to work’ meeting, much like the one after my maternity leave, they’d know how I feel.”
Not all TAs see the same value in how things used to be.
