Here’s a thought – “Try to focus on what you’ve already got, rather than focus on what you think you might need”.

Are you the type of person that wants MORE, MORE MORE?

Let’s face it, recruiters are no different to anyone else.

Almost everyone is on the lookout for the next best thing, almost everyone wants something new, and people certainly want ‘more’.

More of everything.

More storage, more data, more channels, more connections, more ‘likes’, more ‘shares’, more choice, more contacts, but there is never enough.

How many CV’s do you have in your database now? Still want more?

Twice as many? Ten times as many?

Crikey! When did ‘unlimited’ become the norm?

Like most people, I’m often drawn to the free and shiny things in life and I’m a sucker for the latest gadget/gizmo/thing.

I used to love more, but not anymore.

Not now I’ve woken up, that is.

I’ve recently shifted my way of thinking and it’s changed everything for the better.

Today, I focus on what I have, and what’s important about those things. My contacts, relationships and my experience. I make the most of everything I have at my fingertips too. I have more than enough, still too much if I’m honest but as a result, life and business is better, easier and less complicated. I’ve learned to ignore what I call ‘the noise’.

The time I now have is better quality, and so my focus is now on my two priorities. ’Friends and Family’ and ‘Customers’, everything else looks after itself. By wanting less – I’m actually able to give more.

I can’t believe it’s that simple. Everyone is happier. Even me.
