Should you get training on your recruitment software?
It shouldn’t be a big job.
Ok, let me clarify. If you live in a world where you managed to programme the Sky remote to adjust the sound on your TV, and you single-handedly managed to move your itunes from one ipod to another – you probably don’t need as much training as me!
Recruiters are most commonly described as ‘sales types’, and these types tend to be people who benefit from guided help in bite sized pieces, or a training session with a specific agenda (huge generalisation I know)!.
The real question is should your Recruitment Software Supplier help you get the most from your investment with Free online Training clinics, Free Account Management and an 0800 Support line?
If you don’t value Training ask yourself the following;
- Do you know how to Boolean search? – or even what it is?
- If Training was FREE – What would you want the focus to be on?
- People work roughly 2000 hours a year – Those little shortcuts are gold dust – what don’t you know – ask your colleagues before the trainer.
If you passed your driving test after reading the Highway Code or just getting into a car and "giving it a go", you are one of the lucky few.
