Voyager Software becomes Ikiru People

We are delighted to announce the new phase in the development of Voyager Software.  From 1st January 2020, we are bringing together several of the recruiting industry’s best-known suppliers – Dillistone Systems, Voyager Software, ISV.Online and GatedTalent under one brand – Ikiru People.

Why are we doing this?

Voyager Software has, for many years, been a wholly-owned subsidiary of Dillistone Group Plc – a publicly-traded company on the London Stock Exchange. Our sister companies, Dillistone Systems, ISV.Online and GatedTalent are all independently run, but wholly owned subsidiaries of the same parent company.  We’ve long shared systems and resources and so going to the next stage – breaking down the walls between the firms – is an obvious next step.

What does it mean for Voyager product development?

Voyager Software is responsible for several of our best-selling products. Mid Office and Infinity are used day-in, day-out by hundreds of recruiters. We’ve “ended life” of evolve by FCP Internet and this means that we can focus more resources on the products you use, which we continue to develop aggressively.

What does it mean for support and other services?

Ikiru People is based in the newly refurbished and expanded HQ offices in Basingstoke, which was traditionally the home of one of the brands Voyager Software Ltd.  By pulling the personalities and resources from around the different group companies, we’ve been able to build an expanded talent hub, pooling some of the brightest minds and most passionate people in the industry.

Why “Ikiru People?”

Our clients are all in the people business. We like to think we are too. Our people – over 100 of them – are vital to everything we want to achieve, and so we chose a name that reflected the importance of People.

What does this mean for our existing customers?

For everything day-to-day, very little. From the 1st of January 2020, customers will receive invoices from the new company. You’ll also start receiving emails from the email domain, but pretty much everything else is the same as it always has been.

What does this mean for the recruitment market?

Voyager brand is, and will continue to be, one of the most trusted and established names in recruitment software. We will still continue to develop, enhance and deliver our products for recruiters around the world. Our strong focus on delivering an excellent customer experience will still be at the heart of everything we do, plus we’ll now have an expanded team to help us achieve this.
